zzz's...

Sundays are made for messes and naps! We had fun this weekend and we are exhausted!!! Friday night I went scrappin' with the girls while Tony had a date night with his girls. It was a hoot at PMP - I created this piece for a dear friend who is leaving us (sniff) to go and spread her joy in Indiana (i promise i will post a pic, just can't 'til tomorrow so it can be a surprise when she sees it). I have been out of practice (it has been over three months) and started to fade around 10pm. I came home around 11ish which is early for me and hit the hay right away!
Tony woke up early (my friends call it o-dark-thirty) to make the trip up to Sacramento for a power lifting conference. He enjoyed it and learned SO much. You know the old saying... while Daddy's away, let the girls play! And play they did... more Addie, Avery just napped. I am beginning to think that Avery knows the old tale of the Princess and the Pea... it is hard to tell in this photo (taken in the green box mode... I know) but she is sound asleep on the down comforter, all snuggly. If the sleepy surface isn't plush, there will be no hush hush!
Back to Addie... play, play, play. We created works of art with these foam stickers that daddy is SO not a fan of (at least the cleaning part) watched more "moo-mies" than we probably should have and totally got our Wiggle on. With Addie's help, we brought out ALL of her toys from her room and put them all in a pile where she went from one toy to the next. I then put the ones she didn't play with (toys from happy meals, etc.) aside for donation. Play, play, play. In fact, we played so much that when Tony got home late Saturday night he thought a tornado hit the apartment... well one kinda did and her name is Addison. See what we mean... {pic took Sunday morning}
She was sorta proud of her mess, to be honest I left the mess so I could take a picture. Her PJ bottoms are here somewhere???
Couldn't resist this shot, it captures Addie's little version of the "pee-pee" dance.
I had fun with the girls, having them all to myself. It was tough to balance at times but it totally made me really appreciate all the things my loving husband has done for our little family on a day-2-day basis. I LOVE HAVING HIM HOME! He was a great sport and helped pick up the mess, then we all curled up on the couch to watch Sleeping Beauty. As you can see, our little princess didn't last very long... off to dreamland.
