Forgive me for not sending out our usual valentines day cards... we have been a bit busier this year. Our day started with Addie coming into our room at 5 am wanting to crawl into bed with us. I got up, changed her and then made her a "big girl milk" then we went back into her room and cuddled up on the bed. Her bed is super comfy and I had no problem going right back to sleep. Around 9 am, I got a good morning valentine from Tony... wondering why I was sleeping in Addie's bed and she was in the living room playing. I didn't even know she left the bed. Avery woke up around 7:30 which was nice that she let daddy sleep in a little. We have been cleaning, packing, organizing, etc. but no worries, it isn't all work and no play.
Enchanted is the movie of the day so we take breaks to dance when the songs are on. It melts my heart when they dance to the last song on the DVD, he picks her up and she sings the song while she has her head on his shoulder. I had this flash-forward image of her dancing with him only she was wearing a white dress, there were flowers, an appetizing spread... I had to stop, I was getting emotional.
I took fun valentine pictures, however in all my packing I have put the uploading cord "in a place where I know I won't forget it" and of course... I forgot where I put it. Sorry to disappoint, I will upload them as soon as I can.
