My girls are just full of expression! Addie loves tub time and stayed in the H2O until she was all prune-y. She really likes her new 2-in-1 Johnsons shampoo/conditioner, so much that she dumped over half of it into the tub! She's such a happy girl!!!
As I mentioned before, Tony has this special touch to where he just knows how to keep the girls smiling. Here is a great picture taken right after he did his thing. I had forgotten just how precious those first little expressions can be. They totally make you fall in love all over again!
Avery was a really good girl today! She slept from 10:30 pm last night 'til 4:30 am. We had a major #2 explosion but that is why Shout was created. She "coo-ed" a lot today and was a good sport at Addie's dance class. Avery slept through most of it so Tony could read his HARVARD homework and it was only towards the end did she inform us she wanted to be swaddled and swayed from side to side. There were very few girls in class today, I guess that flu bug is going around. Here is a cute picture from class... the little girls all dolled up in tutu's and hot pants just crack me up!After dance, we picked up lunch and headed home for a quiet afternoon. I had an appointment to get my hair done (so long overdue it is not even funny) at three so I decided to be a good wife and get dinner ready ahead of time. Too bad it didn't turn out as I had hoped (dinner, not my hair - my hair is awesome!) so I ended up stopping at the store to pick up a rotisserie chicken since I was starving! Those chickens are such lifesavers!!! Tony is an amazing dad and was gracious to let me skip out of the house for 3 plus hours to have some primping time.
On another note, Addie's vocabulary has just sky-rocketed! We are now noticing her saying all sorts of new words and it is truly amazing. She may not be pronouncing them 100% correctly (i.e. da dis her ur phooone = I have here your phone) but you can totally tell what she is trying to say. One of our new things we love asking her is if she is ok? Her response is usually "I's f -ine" then if you ask her, "are you sure?"... she responds "I's surrrr." Love it!!! I am going to have to record all these little moments so I don't forget them when I am old and prune-y! Okay, it is time to sign off and get the second session of zzz's for the day. Hope you all have a great and blessed day!!!
