Avery's 2nd month stats...

Today we went for Avery's two month check up. Yeah, I know we are a couple days early but since we will be heading on the Wragge family tour next week we figured it would be better to do it now so she could get her shots and all. She did great today at the doctor, she even cracked a smile when the doc was listening to her heart. 

~ height 22 1/2 inches (72nd percentile)

~ weight 11 lbs, 2 oz (74th percentile)

~ miss personality has arrived! she make little "coo" noises and smiles more

~ has dark blue eyes... 

~ able to track faces with her eyes, every-one-in-awhile she'll do a bobble head doll move

~ sleeping between 5 and 6 hours at night (YAY!)

~ eating 4 oz at a time, usually every 3 to 4 hours

~ better neck control

~ started tummy time on this adorable leaf, loves her pink floral boppy

~ can grasp a rattle for a few seconds at a time

~ getting used to Addie "changing" her diaper 

After we got back from the appointment, Hannah watched the girls while I went for a brisk walk around the levy behind the apartment complex. It took me about 45 minutes to do the whole thing - kudos to me for working out two days in a row... I believe in the sports world they call that a streak!!!

Addie played her little heart out with Hannah, ate some lunch and then we attempted to go down for a nap - hoping it would be an easy transition like yesterday but no dice! Addie wouldn't nap in her big girl bed so I tried the crib (which she normally gets mad because that is associated with baby and she is a big girl now) but today she just sat in the crib and cried. See, it was super important for her to get her nap in before 1:00 pm because swimming lessons started up again today. Luckily, Tony got home, went back to help and she listened to her daddy... snoring in less than 3 minutes!!!
