sugar plum fairy...

All I can do is giggle as I am looking at these photos. I love them so much as they are, I didn't even bother cropping or editing them at all! I couldn't decide on my favorites so you have a bunch to look at! Addie received the Barbie & the Nutcracker DVD some time ago and it wasn't until recently did she start watching it. Tonight was THE night for Barbie and the Nutcracker. We must have watched the part where Prince Eric and the Princess dance together a dozen times. She kept requesting it over and over and over. At one point all four of us were dancing. Daddy played the role of the prince, Addie was the princess while Avery and I were just common folk who were the backup dancers. Addie watched and studied the ballet moves or as she calls them "na-lay" where she was pointing her toes as she lifted her leg {pretty graceful for a toddler}, mimicked the arm motions, etc. It was SO very entertaining! Hope these bring a smile to your face like they did to mine.
Dancing her little heart out...
"More, more, more na-lay, pease pease"
translation: more, more, more ballet please please
EMOTIONALLY PERFECT!!!
{Krista L, so many people have commented on that phrase!}
Daddy is a great dance partner, I see why he is mommy's prince!
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
SAVOR THIS MOMENT:
Today, Addie had me lay on the couch and was saying "na-night" meaning she wanted me to close my eyes and fall asleep {it was like maybe 7pm} so I did what she wanted me to. She curled up on the couch next to me with her flowy red hair and put her hands together like she was going to pray, then laid that soft little face on her hands and with these big brown eyes looked at me and said "two!" My heart melted...
