These two characters have a bond that is so endearing to watch. They giggle, they dance, they chat... they are father-daughter best buddies! Check out these faces...
Tonight we decided to get out of the house for a little while and headed to the mall so Addie could run around/get some energy out. We grabbed a bite to eat at the food court and headed down to the play place. I took Avery with me to pick up a few things while Tony stayed with Addie. Keep in mind that Addie is a very social, playful little girl that looks twice her age compared to the other kids that were at the mall playing. There were a group of girls that wanted to play on the fire truck where Addie was and this is where she encountered her first set of kindergartners with an agenda. One of the little girls asked Tony if they could play with Addie and of course he said yes. They went over to ask her to play, started to talk to Addie, she started talking "Addie-ish" and then all three of them looked confused. The one little girl said "we will play with her but she doesn't know how to talk?" and Tony replied, "She's only 2." The girls had a look on her face of pure shock. Then one piped up and said, "I'm five and they're six" and off they went to play.
I am so proud of our little girl. She might be taller than the other kids but she is still just a little two year old exploring the world and taking in what it has to offer. I hope and pray she uses the gifts that God has given her to make the most out of each and every opportunity. She is learning so much and we love her dearly!
