On this day we give thanks, for Jesus has risen!

We had a quiet morning which was really peaceful, I guess we did more yesterday than we thought. We went for a morning walk, had yummy breakfast and then went to the park to let Addie get her wiggles out. I headed home a little early with Avery so we could get Easter dinner going. Once dinner {spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans and sourdough bread} was in the oven, we curled up on the couch and watched a movie since Addie was napping. Soon, the apartment started to smell of tasty goodness so we said grace and enjoyed this wonderful meal together as a family. 

After Easter dinner, it was time for Mariah and Carleigh to get ready for the Britney concert. While they were getting ready, Addie and I decided it would be a good idea to make them a sack lunch since they were going to be at the concert venue for awhile. She loves "pea-ut batter" so we made them PB & J sandwiches, complete with goldfish crackers, a granola bar, sponge bob fruit snacks and a special note on the napkin {my mom used to do that in our sack lunches at school and I LOVED IT!}

While the girls were at the concert, Addie decided she wanted to ride her bike so Tony got her all ready with her helmet and everything. They both went riding around in front of our apartment - it is perfect for riding bikes! 

Then, it was time for a photo shoot with little Avery bunny and bike riding Addie!
