monday...

mom⋅my⋅task⋅ing [mOm-ee-tas-king]

–verb done by moms {can be done by dads, it is referred to as daddytasking}

the concurrent execution of two, three, four or more jobs by a mommy

This morning was so much fun! Avery slept, Hannah had to work at the preschool down the street so it was just Addie and I. We dance, played with stickers and then my new favorite... horsey. This wasn't your normal game of horsey... this horse was cleaning the kitchen/wiping down the floor while cowgirl Addie is yelping out big "YEEE HAs!" I so wish the fly on the wall could have taken a picture of us...it had to be hysterical.

Here we are in our new "lell-ow" outfit that we tinkled right through shortly after putting it on.

Avery woke up just before 10:00 am {she is growing again!} and she had another interesting bed-head-hair-do going. Doing what Avery does best, she had a huge smile on her face and when I picked her up I noticed these four knots in the dark brown hair that is still atop her little head. I have a feeling that we are always going to have to have a bottle of conditioner on standby with this little one!

You can barely see the knots {they aren't very photogenic} in the upper right hand corner of this photo

She so precious, sleeping like an angel!

All three of us watched the sing-a-long-song princess dvd so Addie could sing bippity boppity boo and just around the riverbend and I danced with Avery on my hip while Addie danced all around us. Addie was such a good girl, pausing our playtime when she felt the urge to go wee wee. She is {for the most part} now to the point where she can get to the ELMO potty in time without wet panties. Right before Tony got home {he missed it by like 2 minutes} Addie perks up and bolts to the bathroom. Now I have been letting her go on her own because she has become very private about the whole thing lately... only this time she came out saying "uckie woo woo" with her fingers spread apart. Yep - she went woo woo, but missed the potty by less than 2 feet! Bless her little heart - we are SO VERY PROUD of her! This is much better than going behind the lounge chair in the living room! We got her all cleaned up and when she heard Tony come through the door she went running to tell him what great progress she had made.

She needs privacy and good reading material!

After Tony got Addie down for a nap & Avery was taking a little snooze too, we decided to take it easy. I was a little cranky and tired so he had to convince me to take a nap, he said I deserved it which is so great of him to say! About two hours later, I woke up to the sound of Lady in the Tramp {a different movie than Monsters Inc.!!!} and Tony had both the girls in the living room happy and fed. YAY!!! Once I got the sleep out of my eye, we picked up the apartment, vacuumed and Tony started dinner. He brings home the bacon AND cooks it!!! Yes, I am very blessed and I know I don't thank him enough for all that he does for our family. I love you!!!
