Our little California dream girl is
one month old!
So much can happen in a one month period... we are so blessed to have little Avery Lynn and it is hard to believe it has been a month already. I guess you could say time flies when you are having fun, that, and sleep deprived! We have our official one month doctor appointment so I will update with all of her latest stats tomorrow. Happy one month baby girl!

As for today, we had a fun family outing to the mall to run errands and let Addie run around in the play area to get her wiggles out. Since we were out and about today, we kinda tabled the potty training today or at least so we thought. Addie was a very good girl and got my attention when she needed to go and then since we were at the mall she had a little accident - her first in public ;0( So... what do you do when your daughter has an accident and your spare clothes are on the other side of the mall... go to Gymboree and pick out leggings on sale of course! After a two-digit stop at Gymboree (Tony is thankful it wasn't a three-digit stop like usual) Addie went back to the play area to run around some more. It was quite cute because there was this little boy, he had to be 4 or maybe 5, playing in the canoe with Addie and she was chatting away like she always does. The boy kept trying to figure out what she was saying and he would ask her things like "what are you saying" or "i don't get it." She would respond in her normal two-year-old chatter and finally the boy had enough and went to his mom and belted "I DON'T UNDERSTAND!" and pointed at Addie. She just shrugged her shoulders as I tried to explain to his mom that she is only 2 1/2.
After playing a little longer, Addie and Daddy ventured out to the kiddie rides with a pocket full of quarters. She really enjoyed riding the space ship until there was an explosion and we aren't talking blast off. At this point Avery had completed another "to-do" off her checklist (eat, sleep, potty, burp) so we then headed off to the family room to changed the girls. What we didn't realize was just how fragrant our trip to the changing station would be. It was so bad I had to take a picture of Tony's expression! The girls will probably hate me for this one day but... oh well.
We had a great day, full of laughter and memories... because in the end it is the little things you'll remember.
History was made today...
-Avery is one month old
-we have a new president in office (really liked what Michelle was wearing)
-Addie turned down mac'n'cheese for dinner
QUOTE OF THE DAY: "I am tired of toys with so many parts" says the loving hubby who picked up all the toys before we went to bed. I LOVE YOU TONY!
