Happy New Year!

We hope you all had a nice, safe new year!

Tony, Carleigh, Josh and I all went up to San R
amon, CA to spend the evening with some friends. We had a great time playing Rock Band and watching everyone play "beverage" pong. Here is a great photo of the three of them rocking out to "My Sharona" with Sonya. They asked if I wanted to play and I told them I was perfectly happy being a groupie!
We had fun on our night out but came home early to be with our girls. It was nice to come home to both of the sound asleep, then we all stayed up to watch the ball drop. I had a "date" with old trusty because I was a leaky faucet from our fun night out. Mom stayed home with the girls and they played with Addie's new tent along with other special gifts she had received over the holidays. She is very particular who she invites in her princess tent... in fact everyone has received an invitation except me. My feelings aren't too hurt because I get to take great pics like these of all of her guests inside the tent...
Daddy & Addie - he is such a great sport. He must have gone in and out a half a dozen times!
Auntie Carleigh, Addie, Grannie Annie and Grantie Leesa (she is on the phone)
Uncle Josh & Addie - he is so good with her. He had to head back to NM today and she keeps looking for him saying "Oh Josh?" She misses her buddy!

New Year's Resolution: I have two that I really want to work on this year and for those of you who know me best I am the worst when it comes to sticking with them. Not this year, I have no excuse!
1.) Take more pictures of my family using my new camera
This means capturing the day-to-day moments that I want to remember and share with my girls when they are older. I must say this blog has certainly helped document some of these memories!
2.) Get the body back that I had when I first met Tony
Yes, I still have those skinny jeans but they are in AZ! Health is very important and I need to make it a bigger priority in my life. Most importantly, I need to do this the right way... by doing the hard work and going to the gym. I have a loving husband who is very supportive and loves me for who I am, not what I look like... but I am doing this for me! I am tired of going to cute stores and them only have shoes and scarves that fit!
