my invitation...

As I posted earlier, Addie is very particular as to who she invites into her tent. Well, you can guess just how excited I was to finally receive an invitation! 

This picture was taken by my mom and I was so glad she was there to snap the shot (ok, so the photo is a couple days old, but at least it is up!) We have had an-out-of-order week and it is only Tuesday! Here is a quick recap:

Sunday: Mom went back home to NM, we miss her and so appreciate everything she did for us while she was here but we know that Dave missed her too! Tried to finish up laundry but I am not nearly as efficient as my mom! I am really good about loading and unloading, I tend to fall short on the putting-things-back-where-they-belong part.

Monday: We had a last minute play-date with Mari (Addie's best friend) and then came home to rest. Our friends the Ellison's came over to visit before they headed home to Missouri. We will miss them dearly, but know that they have a great opportunity in Jacksonville. Addie was a "piece of work" to say the least. It was the first time she went all day without a nap... it was very difficult to keep her awake after the Ellison's left but that is why Guitar Hero is such a great distraction. (P.S. I took pics, haven't uploaded them yet... but I PROMISE you will want to stay tuned for them!!!)

Tuesday: Had my doc appointment and then ran some errands with Avery while Tony and Addie went to Costco and the park. Addie came home tired and took a nap shortly after getting home. With both of the girls asleep, I went and ran additional errands then came home to relax with the family. 

Tomorrow is only going to get busier! We have Addie's dance class (she is wearing her leg warmers so I promise to take pictures!!!) and then have errands to run before we go visit the Baas family. They welcomed little Bryson David Baas into the world this afternoon and we are so excited for them. All four of us are going to Addie's dance class... it will be our first outing as a family! I am so thankful that we went for the mini-van because after you have the two car seats, you load up the diaper bags, dance bag, stroller... it is a packed vehicle!
