One week old...

It is hard to believe that Avery is already a week old! Here are some of the things she is doing:

-Eating about 2 to 3 oz per feeding

-Sleeping for about 4 hours at a time

-Makes these adorable mouse-like sounds

-Has had only 1 diaper explosion to date

-Had to go get a couple more newborn outfits since she is petite

-Weight has fluctuated, started at 7 lbs 9 oz, dropped to 6 lbs 14 oz, gained on average 2 oz per day, even gained 3 oz after one feeding at the doctors office

-Is showing signs of a small dimple on her right cheek

-A total trooper when it comes to me taking a bizillion pictures of her and Addie together!

Curious Addie... she watches Avery with those big brown eyes and my heart can only imagine what thoughts are running through Addie's mind. Perhaps it is something like "Hey sis, do you know how much fun we are going to have together" or "Can you hurry up and grow so we can go play with play-dough" or "think of all the clothes we can share!"
From the bottom of my heart, I wanted to thank all you who have done such special things for my family. From dinners to running errands for us, words cannot express how blessed I am to have such wonderful people in my life. I truly appreciate everything and thank God everyday for our dear friends.
