This week has been interesting to say the least. After all of our doctor appointments on Tuesday and us preparing for everything...we received a phone call yesterday from our doctor wanting to have our tests done earlier just in case we needed to have our little Avery early. Tony and I were a little shocked, but we knew everything was in God's hands. We went in this morning around 830ish for the tests and everything is great! My fluid levels are at a 10.3 (the ultrasound-ologist did it twice to make sure!) and her heartbeat was very strong. We all know my husband has a gift of being able to pull me out of tense, stressful situations and he strikes again with this funny story... I was getting worried, wondering what the test results were going to be, what my blood pressure was, etc. So the heart monitor is on my belly and it makes this consistent boom sound. Well, Tony thought that it sounded a lot like a DJ mixing music so he was making funny gestures and "wikka wikka wikka" noises which made me laugh nonstop. I laughed so hard that the monitor went crazy and it looked like jagged marks on the baby's sheet. The thing is, I couldn't stop laughing and we both knew that if I didn't stop laughing that we were going to have to start all over again or have skewed results. I was still laughing to the point where as I am hooked up to this monitor I almost peed my pants and Tony had to leave the room... once I finally composed myself he came back with this look on his face that made me laugh all over again. To say the least we are totally meant for each other and I am so thankful that my husband knows how to pull me out of those "my-head-is-about-to spin-off" moments. After we got the good news about the results, the doctor said that I can go to the game on Sunday (my last one for the season) and then I am on bed rest for the next week. I am going to do everything in my power to hang on until they get back from Miami! I am so thankful that my mom is still here to help and she has been amazing with Addie, helping me check stuff off of my never-ending "TO DO" list, etc. She is even going to take Addie to little gym and ballet class. Wish her luck because driving around the bay area is VERY different from Albuquerque! She is tough and can handle it... it is the crazy California drivers that worry me. Thank you for all your prayers, we are so appreciative! I promise to keep you all posted!
