Ballet Addie

Last Wednesday was Addie's 1st ballet and tap class. We signed up for this class with her best friend Mari. We had so much fun getting her all dressed for the part...including putting her hair in the famous ballerina bun. Once we got there she was more than happy to put on her tap shoes and just started dancing her little heart out. About mid-way through the class, all 12 little tappers in her class switch to become beautiful ballerinas. All the girls in her class are ages 2 to 3 and are so stinking cute! Within the group there are the little "teacher helpers" who take the younger ones under their wing, there are the "independent" ones who love watching themselves twirl in the mirror and then of course the "dance to their own music" princesses that were very entertaining. Addie had a blast at her first class and we are so looking forward to her recital in June.
