These were my husband's last words as he was getting on the bus for St. Louis this afternoon. (we went to the facility for our normal send off ritual where Addie gets to run around with Tony just before he leaves for an away game). He was a little concerned since I had two contractions last night (around 4:30am). This morning before he left for work, he put his head on my belly and told his "little bundt cake" to stay in the oven until he gets home. Her response... she kicked him. Now, I am not sure she was kicking because she was agreeing to stay put or if she didn't like her new nickname. Either way, he was happy to feel her moving around in this big belly of mine. In fact, this afternoon when I got up off the couch (yes, I am horizontal again!) my loving, dear sweet mother just blurted out "oh my gosh, honey you are HUGE!" Only a mother would be able to be so blunt and I would not take offense. Since this morning I have felt a little pressure here and there, nothing even remotely close to any sort of pattern. So, I am asking for all your continued prayers that our little Avery listens to her daddy and stays put until he gets home on Sunday. Warm wishes to all and many blessings!
