Incredibly thoughtful baby showers for little Avery...

I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends here in California!
The super-fun-always-have-a-blast ladies I scrapbook with threw me a special baby shower in October and we had a ball! My sister and my mother came up for the event and we had a terrific time playing all sorts of little baby games. There were so many little creative touches to the shower - all with the flare of true scrapbook artists. Here is a picture of the diaper cake that my dear friend Erin made for me...

So, we got a little crazy towards the end...at this point we hadn't solidified our little one's name. They had the bright idea to write a crazy-silly message for Tony to see when he got home from the Giants game. To say the least, we giggled a ton which made it hard for Erin to write. Since I was ballpark 30 weeks along, the message read in font 54 due to the size of my ginormous belly! The message read "Daddy, I really want my name to be Averie Noelle Wragge." When Tony read the special message, he laughed almost as hard as we did when we wrote it!
Thanksgiving weekend was just full of surprises. My mom came into town that Friday to help me get the girls room finalized, set up and prepped for Avery's arrival. When my mom arrived, she said she left her suitcase in the cab...moments later the doorbell rang and I thought it was the cab driver bringing back her bag. When we opened the door it was my baby sister Carleigh! It was such a great surprise...but there was more that my sneaky family was up to! My dear friends Jessica, Rachel, and Emily threw me a super surprise baby shower and my family was in on it from the beginning - INCLUDING MY HUSBAND! I was so incredibly surprised that they thought I might just go into labor since I was 35 weeks along! All of the niner ladies were there and I was truly touched to see them all! Check out this adorable cake...not to mention my fondant cleavage!!! The girls had it specially made...PUMPKIN with cream cheese frosting!!!
