I promise that isn't the start of a dr. seuss book... we got Avery's test results back and it is good news for her, bad news for me. She is perfectly fine except that she has a cow milk allergy which occurs in about 2% of kids Avery's age. In addition to her cow milk allergy, she is part of the 15% of the 2% {are ya still with me?} that also suffers from a soy allergy. In english, this means that in order for her not to have the tummy issues she has been battling, as long as I am breast feeding I need to go on a STRICT diet of just fruits, veggies and proteins. That means no more pizza, cheese, milk, butter... basically all the stuff that just tastes amazing - even Dion's!!! Now, for those of you who know me, I wouldn't give up Dion's for anyone in the world except my children!!! So, I guess you could say Avery is just trying to help me get skinnier that much quicker. The good news is that she will grow out of this around 9 months to 12 months of age. Formula is another option, however it isn't as good for her as the breastmilk and there could be other issues that we don't need to get into. So, I would appreciate your support and please pray for my discipline and diligence... I know I can do it! I would like to thank all of Avery's doctors for being so thorough and patient in explaining all of this to me!

no moo, boo hoo!!!
HANNAH'S PRE-PRESCHOOL:
Our beloved Hannah comes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in the morning to spend time with Addie. She creates her own lesson plans and the tools she is learning in school she applies with Addie in a hands on environment. I love it too because I get to spend some quality time with Miss Avery while Addie is playing and learning! Addie is 100% loving having Hannah lead her private preschool 3 days a week! Today we had Mari join Addie with Hannah and the three of them just had a great time together {Erin, Avery and I got our walk on - a whole 45 minutes of good walkin' & talkin'}. They painted, rode bikes and even did a spring art project for us. I can already see what an impact this has had on Addie and I know that having her best friend Mari there just helps with the socialization aspect. Here are a couple fun pics from today.
