things that make your heart melt...

Need I say more? Yeah, I didn't think so...

I just want you all to know that my to do list is about as long as Santa's list, only I'm not checking it twice! Instead, I am blowing all of that {unpacking, blogging about the weekend, uploading travel photos, thank you notes, etc.} off and taking pictures like these! Avery woke up early {in a good mood as always!} and then when Addie woke up her hair was beyond perfect and was screaming *take my picture* while the lighting was um, yeah faboosh!!! {aka fabulous!} So, I got the girls dressed in what I had laying around {still in the Target bag} and went downstairs in the grassy area behind our apartment. I will admit, I made two trips because I took my Canon 40D down the first time, took like 12 shots and then the battery died. I then sat and pondered whether or not it was worth going upstairs again with the girls, finding the mini-Canon and getting the girls back outside without any changes in their mood? Hmmm??? Remember that voice earlier... yeah, so we went upstairs, played the *let's find mommy's camera game* which was so fun for Addie and then went back downstairs for some more photo magic. I didn't bring spare batteries with me because I knew the mini-Canon had new ones from out trip this past weekend. This is what was the result of my second trip down - YES, it was a lot of work but I feel it was 100% worth it! 

PS. Addie started playing a *let's see if Avery can balance on her own* game that resulted in a face-plant-pissed-off-I-don't-like-you-right-now face from Avery. I swear she sent her sister the first of many to come eye-daggers!
