Happy belated Mother's day you all of you out there - I am a week late but I guess you can say I am still celebrating the special occasion - EVERYDAY! I am blessed to have two precious little girls who I love dearly!

On May 11th we had an interesting Mother's day... Addie woke up acting strangely which we later discovered she had a temperature of 102 - YIKES! We went into planning mode - what if, oh but then we could, but then again if only, etc.... I will spare you the rest of the spin but overall, after we gave her some Tylenol and she took another nap she was acting a little bit more like her normal spunky self. We then decided to pack up the girls and hit the road - especially since it was going to take us at least 3 hours to get home - but before we left I had to have my Dion's!!!
After overcoming the following obstacles - flying spider who if he is still alive only has six legs instead of eight, a bee at a dumpy gas station off of exit ???, surviving what could have been a much worse breast pump accident, pulling over to change the girls in a snake infested area, cranky kiddos {I would get one of the settled down and then the other one would start up which caused a chain reaction} and finally after all of that... we were back home in ABQ {it took us 4 1/2 hours to get back home.} To help the girls stretch their legs we jumped out of the car and immediately went and played in Grannie Annie & Papa Dave's backyard. Addie loves the water so we had fun times with the hose. Anything to keep the kid happy - ya know!!!
