friday...

We laid low on Friday with all the stuff that is going on, just figured that it was in our best interest to just hang at the house. I wish I could say that we all slept in but Miss Addie decided to be bright eyed and bushy tailed around 5:00 am. So, it was definitely a low key morning which was followed by a silly cleaning session where Tony and I shared our different views of *cleaning* and I am happy to say that I resisted the urge to pour A1 steak sauce on the carpet {long story!} 

We had our dear friends Andy and Rachel over for dinner. They had just driven back to Cali from South Carolina and we felt that after a drive like that they certainly needed a home cooked meal! They played with the girls, we chatted it up past bedtime.... it was a lot of fun! 

Addie hadn't seen her gal-pal Rachel since January but once Rachel pulled out her iPhone with pictures of their precious pup Layla, Addie knew EXACTLY who Rachel was. During last season Addie figured out how to navigate the iPhone and it kept her entertained for quite some time. It was funny though because when Addie would try and get Rachel's attention she would say "Miss" which was pretty cute. By the end of the evening it "ach-al, oh ach-al..."

Here is Andy with Avery... they were playing peek-a-boo! When the time comes Andy and Rachel are going to make wonderful, loving parents!
