mental memories...

the girls are in bed, have been for an hour and I am exhausted! what am i doing up you say, just can't sleep! i have a "to do" list running through my brain and trying to come up with a cute idea for Addie's special snack day at school {due Wednesday, if it was tomorrow... it would be "semi-homemade" cupcakes from Safeway in a homemade plastic container!}

i had a great day, perhaps that's why my mental batteries are still charged. the ladies got together this morning for our first bible study, it was emotional as we were thinking of our dear friends who thankfully are strong believers as they navigate this difficult time... i have to stop, i will cry again! we checked our calendars, got the logistics worked out and we are good to go...

the girls were the silly sisters today... neither one wanted to take a decent nap {trust us, they "rethought" that right around dinner time} so they played with blocks, a ga-zillion games of peek-a-boo and giggled their way through the afternoon until daddy got home. then their games consisted of a daddy dog pile - such a fun afternoon to which i just got to hang with the family... no pictures, just mental memories!

we just got word that our dear friends E & B just welcomed their newest addition... a little boy!!! i highly respect this woman because she not only waited patiently to find our whether she was having a little girl blessing or a little boy blessing with her first... she also had the patience to wait to find out with her second!!! congrats to them... Will is going to be a wonderful big brother and welcome to the world baby B!!!
