Poor Addie coughed her little heart out last night so we opted to be bums today and stay home. We watched movies, colored with anything and everything we could get our hands on... which explains these two photos!
I think Avery was going for the sweet side of the "Joker" and Addie wanted to be "Cat Woman" since she was drawing her own whiskers.
Video of the day
{taken right before naptime}
We also had a chance to Skype with the newest member of the family... a little red doby named Ruby. My aunt and uncle in ABQ have opened their home to the precious pup with paws she will eventually grow into. The girls had a ball seeing everyone via Skype and it was nice to catch up with everyone. Welcome Miss Ruby!!!
Milk/Van Update: We took the van into the Honda dealer and they recognized us ASAP, saying "Oh yeah, you guys are the one's that had the gold fish explosion and the ant traps!" They called today to inform us that the milk had gone through the removable mats, soaked up the actual carpet and made it's way into the insulation that separates the engine from the cabin space. UGH!!! They even went as far as to send me a photo of the milked insulation - GROSS! They had to remove and replace insulation, shampoo the carpets twice and detail every nook and crannie of the floorboard. I know that $3.99 gallon of milk is now looking more like $$$ but the very thought of every time I turn on my engine smelling the warmed up sour milk makes my whole body cringe! It is worth it, it is worth it... mental note: NEVER EVER EVER have milk in the front seat, put it in the back where the special liner is in the base of the van!!!
