We left for NM on Thursday and stayed through Sunday. It was nice being able to spend time with family, but most of all Addie loved playing with everyone. Above is a photo of Addie participating in a Lederer family tradition, which is anytime there is a cherry pie the youngest in the family do a "taste test" where they can stick their finger in the pie. My sister and I did it growing up and it warms my heart to know that the tradition that my grandmother started will carry on to other generations. (PS. for those of you who are considering the "yucky" factor... don't worry, we tend to stick to the sides so other patrons slices are not affected.)

Here is a photo of Addie sewing special-made-for-ages-three-and-up cards to teach little fingers dexterity. As you all know my mom is a retired teacher who soaked up every last moment teaching Addie new things. My mom (aka Grannie Annie) even taught Addie to say "C" so her alphabet isn't missing a very important letter. Way to go!

Bath time is splash time! It is always a drip of a good time when Addie gets a bath. Grantie Leesa and Papa Mike had a ball getting splashed. Nana Lisa and Great Grandma Helen were smart is staying out of the splash zone!

This is such a silly photo. Grannie Annie found this cute little play kitchen for Addie to play with and it was tough to get Addie out of the kitchen. In this picture Addie grabbed the play soda bottle, but it looks like she is adding baileys to her tasty dish! When I say tasty, I should probably say adventurous because if you look closely... there are peas, doughnuts and frosting all simmering on the stove! Also, check out that bed head!!!

BIG BUBBLES! Papa Dave took Addie outside and they made different types of bubbles. Big ones, little ones, wet ones, etc. Addie loves her bubbles and Papa Dave played with her until they both were in need of a nap! He even said that there is a reason why you have kids while you are young!
