Balls, balls, balls!!!

She loves balls! This is a regular occurrence whenever I do laundry. We play this super fun game where we sing our little song to put all the balls away and once all the balls are in the laundry basket we jump right in! She is getting really good at getting in without losing too many out of the basket.

Addie wants to type: ooihpxz oihpiubslfkj; rje;jo;dggnh pppppppppppppp

Today is Sunday and I must say it has been a great family day. All three of us slept in until after 9am and then made a yummy breakfast. We have been trying so hard to get Addie to eat veggies other that potatoes so I sneaked pumpkin and squash into the muffins. They were super tasty and very moist. After breakfast, we spent the rest of the day cleaning and getting things organized since Addie's toys have taken over our living room. We have been diligently saying our ABC's however little Addie tends to favor her own alphabet, A B D E O Y. She has been recognizing more words as we go places or read books. In fact, last night a friend of ours was eating an apple and Addie kept saying "Apple Ummie" which in Addie-ish translates to Apple is Yummy. We gave her a whole apple and she took big bites all by herself. We are also happy to report that she didn't shove any of it up her nose like she did at the grocery store.
Tony is really enjoying his internship with Harley Davidson. He comes home all excited and telling these stories of how he watched a guy change this using this doo-hikie, or how they added this soft tail to a "something that sounds motorcycle-ish," etc. He is so stinking excited and I am so happy for him.
As for me, I have been busy taking pictures, doing mommy stuff and scrapbooking. I just finished this brilliant class by an incredibly talented individual! Rocio is a truly creative person to be around. I would reveal more about the class but it is a present so it must remain hush hush until Mother's day.
Addie is wearing her bunny pj's and they are so cute. She is watching Little Einsteins and it is nice to hear something other than the Mickey Mouse Hot Dog Dance song. Her new favorite show is called Word World. It is a great show on PBS, I highly recommend it. The creative minds behind that show are spectacular! I will say the theme song will stick with you for awhile but it is very catchy!
