Yesterday was a day of new firsts, it all started with a new word - Ducky! We were playing with new bath toys and she was very passionate when she shouted "Ducky!" Tony and I both giggled because she got so excited.
We continued our day of firsts by then seeing our first movie, Horton hears a Who, in the theater. It was an experience and she did well overall. There were all of 4 other people in the theater, so we sat up towards the top and had nine rows to ourselves. She ate all the gummy treats before the movie actually started and then decided it would be fun to walk in between the rows a zillion times. Tony and I traded off making the laps with her. She did pull up a seat and watch a little bit of the movie, but then she discovered popcorn and wanted to eat a piece and then throw some on the floor. I felt bad for the crew who cleans up but then again it cost $8.25 for an afternoon movie!
We also had our 2nd bible study last night and it was wonderful. I really enjoy spending time with those ladies and the fact that we can discuss all sorts of issues with a mutual understanding is amazing. We studied the WORD last night and I left feeling so positive and energized that I had a hard time going to sleep.
