So it's been awhile... again!!! 

Sorry, we have been busy riding our family roller coaster doing things like:

visiting family,

organizing,

going on family walks,

cleaning,

reading,

riding our bikes,

playing in our big basement,

prepping for May,

and most importantly...

CHERISHING THE TIME WE GET TO SPEND TOGETHER!!! 

Usually when I get overwhelmed or on the brink of stressed I turn to crafting. Sadly, with everything that has been going on I haven't been able to do much scrapbooking... until today! Although this isn't a layout or mini-album {just don't have the time nor the juices right now} I decided to turn to pinterest! For those of you who are unfamiliar, pinterest is a site where people post pictures of stuff they like and organize them into categories. Lately, posts on stuff to do with and for children have peeked my interest. This idea I found here and here... that is what I love about this site! It give original credit to those who created it and then here is my take! 

These are my 2012 prayers for my girls and I will keep these in my bible as a reminder! Addison's is on the left {go figure!} and Avery's is on the right. This project took all of 10 minutes, well actually like 30 - trying to get our Bay Area Beauty to sit still was a slight challenge seeing as she would have much rather been riding her big-girl-bike! 

As for me, I am feeling a bit accomplished... the house is clean, the girls are fed and playing together nicely, we were able to iChat with daddy and I got to distress something today!!! YAHOO!!! See, it's the little things that matter and as the lyrics from As Long As I'm Here by Brandon Heath go: 

"But I will rejoice in today and the journey I’m on

And I’ll keep on praying and pressing on until dawn"
