Good Friday...

Thankful for today, for what it means, and the sacrifice that was made...

Spending this day together as a family has meant a great deal to us!
And the activity of the day: DYE EASTER EGGS!

Let's get this party started!
We decided to dye our Easter eggs outside to minimize the mess...
{good thing which you will see later!}
To protect the patio table I covered it using this pretty yellow wrapping paper.
say cheese...
prepping the eggs with lemon juice...
love addison's pirate Easter face...
decided to use the whisk to prevent spillage...
this is avery's smile...
I still had to bribe her with candy!
"mommy, I have one, two, free..."
love the "missing two front teeth" smile
while we were waiting for our eggs to soak up the color,
thought we should add some one-of-a-kind crayon designs to our eggs
look of pure concentration
and then... SPILLAGE
while waiting for round two of the eggs they played baseball...
round one...
and the finished product!!!
had such a wonderful time today, looking forward to tomorrow's egg hunt!

ps. the smily face addison drew is of Jesus
