the gentle cycle...

Wash with care, hang dry when misbehaving and to promote longer wear get a hug every chance you get!!! I love Addie's big sister expression on her face and little miss giggly jelly bean Avery has her little sweet smile posed, front and center! Who would have thought a laundry basket could be such great fun?!?!?!?!?

We spent the evening making birthday cupcakes {Addie calls them birthday muffins} and when it came time to frost them... there were only 21 instead of 24! Addie had snatched up three of them for "taste testing purposes." She loves to cook so this little activity helped keep her busy!

A happy giggle when she got caught stealing another birthday muffin!!!
Using the decorating tips she picked up from Auntie Carleigh while she was in town...
The finished product...
I am sitting here tonight trying to wrap my brain around the idea that Addie is going to be three tomorrow. Just thinking about it, 3 years ago tonight I was bar hopping {yes, bar hopping} in Scottsdale, AZ trying to find the Bears/49ers game on TV. We went to three places and none of them were able to get the game so it turned into a mini-pig-out session! I had an appointment to be induced at 5 am but the hospital could call earlier if they had space. They ended up calling around 4 am and.... daddy arrived at the hospital around 11:00 am {he flew in from San Jose}... a push here... a push there... and Miss Addison Taylor joined the world! She is such doll, love you Addie!!!

PS. I just read a story to my two year old and when she wakes up she will be three... it is like finishing one chapter but looking forward to what comes next...
