Avery @ 8 months...

This little lady is all over the place! She keeps us on our toes and we have to watch our every step because she moves at infant-mock-2. Seriously, we put her down and a nano-second later she is on the other side of the room or down the hallway.

*enjoys her baby Einstein videos {Addie helps identify the animals, colors, numbers, etc.}
*eats big girl oatmeal on special occasions
*had to upgrade to a new car seat because she is 28 1/2 inches tall
*sneaky, sneaky little girl for only 8 months
*falls asleep between 9 & 9:30 pm
*wakes up around 7:30 am
*takes 3 serious naps ranging from 45 minutes to 2 hours {it is bliss when both the girls are out at the same time...ahhh!}
*sampled all the veggies, moving onto the fruits
*starting to hold her own with Addie, mastering the art of keep-away
*says "mama" all the time, still working on the "dada" but I think she is waiting until Daddy gets home from training camp
*discovered her toes and is constantly trying to put them in her mouth {give new meaning to phrase " foot in mouth"}
*wearing 12-18 month pajamas, size 3 pampers
*greets you with a smile first thing in the morning
*L-O-V-E-S the bath now... plays, splashes, toots, pulls herself up in the tub every chance she gets!
*weighs about 20lbs according to daddy's scale
*both of her k-9's are in and ready to gnaw on some real food
*loves riding in the shopping carts- she gets a rockin' and a rollin', movin' and a grovin'

Avery's "Solid" Opinion

giggling over green beans...
this is where peas belong...
on the wall, not in my mouth
'nuff said!!!
prunes... we all know what they make us do!
photography note:
totally an emotionally perfect photo but I seriously need to step away from the green box!!!
multi-grain artisan bread with a little dill mayo... YUM!!!
And while the door to the wide world of solid food is wide open, another door has closed on "old trusty." We must bid adieu to my wee-small-hours-of-the-morning-friend... I am going to miss that old thing, but it is time for this cow to quit milking and graze the pasture until next time??? {wink, wink, tug, tug, poke, poke}
