Yep, she's six...
she grew up just a little more yesterday and today she officially starts Kindergarten
she partied a little too much with her new gifts so getting up this morning was tough...
so I let her sleep in 5 more minutes...
and then I made this princess pb&j with chocolate chip gems
then it was time to pack her lunch and prep breakfast...
she perked up out of bed when daddy called...
and now for the fun shots before we left for school...
then we took a few extra pictures once we got to school...
big steps...
she knew right where her backpack and belongings needed to go...
and a quick picture with her best friend Z
when she walked into the classroom, she gave her teachers a hug then turned to me and said,
"Bye mom! I'm going to have a great day!"
yes, I started to tear up when I got to the car!
{even though I did this last year in CA, but since it was only for three weeks that was more like practice}
this is our baby girl...
oh the places she will go,
thinking of the wonderful world that is about to open it's doors to this smart little girl...
and it all starts with the foundation of kindergarten!
