just for fun...

There are a lot of things we do just for fun... sadly lately I have been so busy checking things off our never-ending To Do list that I feel like I have forgotten to just have fun.

Thankfully these two still know how!

Today we ran errands that we absolutely had to but instead of doing them the same old boring way we decided to change it up a bit. Addison {who has been diligently working on her directions} told me which way to go and I must say it wasn't the most efficient way of getting from point A to point B, however she had a ball being a "back seat driver." While Addison was giving directions, Avery was our radio-DJ. She sang her version of ABC's {thankfully, we have moved past D} along with "tinkle tinkle little star" and "Today is Sunday" - a song my mother made up when Addison was barely a month old!

What I have learned from my darling daughters...

*I can't take things too seriously

*Reinforced the fact that prayer is the answer to everything!

*I shouldn't allow something/someone to hurt me after their 3 kisses have made it better

*Above all, mommys can still have fun!
