back to school... {PHOTO HEAVY}

Well in our house today marks a day of firsts...
Our desert darling starts kindergarten,
Our bay area beauty ventures out into the wide world of preschool!
We are so very proud of both our girls and excited for what God has in store for them.
These are Avery's keys... she has been a little uneasy lately and whenever she sees one of us grab our keys she is the first to be at the stairs {shoes and all!}. I made Avery her very own set courtesy of an old 49ers family pass and a few scrapbook keys! She loved it!!! {THANKS MOM!}
These are teacher gifts for the first day of school which was an idea that my friend Erin introduced me to. They are filled with an apple, throat drops, tissues, gum, Emergen-C packets, hand sanitizer and post-its. It's just a little something to let the teachers know that we care and want them to stay healthy!
Up close shot of one of the tags using the My Little Shoebox PLAYTIME collection.
Now for the shots of the girls dawning their new duds! Getting them ready was a slight challenge, but I think that is because they had to wear socks & put their shoes on the right feet! The nice thing is when it came time to take pictures they were all smiles!!!

This picture says it all, watch out preschool... here comes Avery Lynn!!!
Loving her uniform, her smile and the fact that every time she says jumper she jumps!
This picture was taken after this conversation:
Addison: We get to go to school today!
Avery: Skoooooooooool Addie???
Addison: Yes, play!
Avery: HUG?
Okay, yes... I have melted into a puddle on the floor!

Pictures from school...
Now it is Avery's turn!!! It is hard to believe that she is going to preschool, it seems like yesterday she was just a little thing curled up in my arms. Today she is a vibrant, full of energy and life kind of girl who may be timid at first but then she just lights up the room.
She was a bit shy, cried when I left {which totally tugged at my heart} but I know that there are 8 lovely women who are going to pour their hearts into all these darling kiddos! Avery is in good hands and I bet she was playing with dolls or blocks by the time I got to the parking lot!
So... I am home, it's quiet... like REALLY quiet! To keep busy for the next 3 hours I am going to play with the photos from today and I can't wait to get scrapping with them!!!

Lots of love to all!!!
