on a rainy day...

Days like today are just my favorite! Growing up in the desert I appreciated the rain when it came and now that I have been blessed to live here in the bay area I tend to get over-excited when it rains cats and dogs outside. Love the sound, love the smell... love it!

As a family we:

*woke up to the sound of the rain around 8am

*Avery slept in her crib until 11:30am - somebody's growing!

*cooked with Addie - she insists that EVERY recipe calls for 4 eggs!

*stayed in our pj's all day

*played in our tent {pic is from 1.15.10}

*loving our apple TV!!!

*new found appreciation for English Breakfast tea

*Addie demonstrated the proper way to "heads, shoulders, knees and toes"

*ate banana bread - delicious!

*vacuumed

*watched movies

*made & scarfed taco soup - super yummy!

*chores

*giggled, giggled and giggled

*enjoyed a little snack

*vacuumed again...

*tony put together our Christmas present from the family - a super big thank you!

*laundry

*Addie started adding and subtracting cows, socks & tractors
