tea anyone???

This afternoon a few of the ladies headed up to the city for a special baby shower for our dear friend E. Some of her friends decided to throw her shower at a quaint little tea shop appropriately named Crown & Crumpet and it was delectable fancy fun. I will fess up, I "googled" the place prior to the shower just so I knew what to expect {what to wear, do I really need to hold my pinky in the air when I drink tea, etc.} and immediately fell in love with the place. It has a special classic English tea room feel with a splash of Victorian influence then dipped with the modern retro polka dots. They even have a special Gingerbread tea for children so prior to our departure I made sure to make those arrangements for an Addison & Mommy date {SO EXCITED!}
