AVERY TOOK HER FIRST STEPS TODAY!!!

We had just cleaned ourselves up from our evening at the park and getting ready for bath time when we decided that an episode of Word World was on our agenda. Addie was totally in tune with the show as Avery went exploring in the living room wearing nothing but her diaper. She was playing over by Addie's table where there are toys such as the doll house, a few princess figurines and a Cinderella music box. The music box intrigued Avery the most and she pulled it off of the table... this is a normal occurrence, except for what happened next! Avery pushed the music box to the other side of the room and then, while still on her two feet picked up the music box into an upright, standing position and moved one foot completely up off the floor forward a couple inches and then did the same with the next foot... OFFICIALLY TAKING HER FIRST STEPS! I must reinforce that not only did she take her first steps but she was carrying a music box as she did it!!!

So proud of you muffin!
