thirty days of thankfulness...

Good morning!!!

My morning started early since we had hit the hay early last night. I woke up with pure darkness outside with a slight chill in the air so I cuddled up in hubby's sweat shirt. There was just this peace of how quiet it was in our home, with the exception of the precious little snores coming from the polka dot room!

I made some tea, dusted a few things off the counter and just sat in the still...
and counted ALL my blessings!

Fast forward a few hours after Tony headed off to the Academy and the munchkins discovered their presents from the Switch Witch, I stumbled upon the amazing Jennie Wicker's page and she had posted this short film about moms. After watching it I cried... and then counted my blessings again. In light of that little video I decided to take part of the THIRTY DAYS OF THANKFULNESS for the month of November.

So for today, since I'm behind already by a day {I know, you are shocked!} I wanted to say I am thankful for my friends and my family... AND the pictures! Okay, technically that is three so consider it interest!

They are all giggly and happy to play with these crafty presents left by the Switch Witch. 

The funny thing was when the girls sorted through all their candy, Addison chose all chocolate and Avery picked out the fireballs and smarties! Oh the irony!!!

The kitchen floor seems like the perfect spot to start coloring treasure maps...

Guess dinner would have to wait, in our family creativity comes first!
