Friday Night Lights...

Football is a part of our family...

We have turned in our Sunday best for Friday Night Lights!

Part of our tradition is to make a sign for daddy...

The girls were so very excited to show daddy their sign...

Avery's getting good at taking the "selfie"

The girls made it 6 minutes into the first quarter before they broke out the My Little Ponies.

Halftime = snack time

"Hi Daddy, do you like our sign? We made it just for you! Isn't it pretty?"

Trying to catch a few raindrops in our mouths...

And then it decided to pour...

As I was opening up the ponchos and such one of the other fans said,

"You can tell that this isn't your first football game!
Oh honey, if you only knew!!!

{we totally scored brownie points for sticking it out!}

So very proud of Coach Daddy!!!

I do have to say the best part of the night was during the end of the third quarter

the cheerleaders and the band started to play the school fight song again.

Addison said, "Mommy, why are they playing the clapping song again?'

I replied, "Honey, that's call the fight song"

Addison the said, "Oh mommy, fighting is a bad choice?"

Avery chimed in with, "Are they all going to go to timeout?"

Guess I have some explaining to do!!!
