winter in nebraska... {lots-o-photos}

In all the years Tony and I have been together we haven't been able to travel up north for Christmas.
We have always been blessed to have family come to us, wherever we might be!
It was such fun going to Nebraska and I must admit, I was praying for a TRUE white Christmas!
Santa was good to me this year and we got to play in the pretty, powdery white stuff!!!

"I'm ready to go to brassska"

It didn't take the kids long to get dolled up in their snow gear and hit the hill!
"Let's try this snow stuff out..."

Curled up and cozy in Grandma & Grandpa's bed, watching the Grinch

Making gingerbread houses...
foam glittered gum drops that we found everywhere but on the houses!

More fun in the snow...
Aunt Keli and cousin Drew having fun on the hill

Did we mention it was cold???

Then is was time to warm up with some hot chocolate and play a game of match.
LONGEST. GAME. IN. THE. HISTORY. OF. EVER
{but fun none-the-less}

Before we knew it, it was Christmas day...

Santa spoiled this trio...
and they were only interested in the presents from Santa
and paid no mind to all those under the tree!

Christmas Day family photo in our matching pajamas!!!
{my husband is SUCH a great sport!}

Drew sporting a foam candy cane beard...

All this opening, sledding, eating just tuckered this one out!

 Playing with our princesses...

All bundled up, ready to go to town!

Coloring while Grandpa gets his checkup!
They sang the Doc McStuffins song for the whole lobby!

FUN IN THE SNOW!!!

Our little snow angel...

Pretty trees dusted with glittery snow!

 Addison LOVED everything about the snow!
Was she cold,... YES!
Did her cheeks turn bright red like delicious apples... YES!
Did she keep going back for more... YES!!!

This one experimented with the snow...
Put snow in her gloves and discovered that snow makes things cold!
She loved just planting into the snow - rosey, rosey cheeks!!!

Would go inside to thaw out, only to come back out two minutes later!

Cute Christmas picture of the three musketeers!

After close to nine years of marriage,
twelve years together,
I finally was able to partake in the famous
Bonderson Family Fondue Night!!!
YUMMY!!!

So glad these guys drove virtually all day to be with us!
Love you guys!
{PS. Uncle Gary, your shoes are in the mail and
Tony did NOT go through the cattle yard in them!}

Hitting the hill in Sioux City, Iowa

Practicing our grip as we write love letters!

Cute picture of Grandma and her girls!
 Avery snuggling with Grandma Mardell

And this pumpkin is still out sledding...
we call her the NIGHT RIDER!!!

We had a fantastic trip and are so very thankful for our time with family!
Addison keeps asking if it is going to snow and now the cold 42 degrees in AZ
feels colder than it did in Nebraska! Awe, the power of wind!!!

Thank you to the Wragges, the Kortjes and the Bondersons for a FABULOUS trip!!!

xoxo
