To be honest, I have never been good at saying good-bye, in fact I hate it. It is hard for me... and you would think after all we have been through I would be more relaxed about this sort of thing but I am not. Instead, my dear-sweet-rock-of-a-husband knows that when it comes to good-byes I turn into an emotional ball of mush... case in point: when the pediatrician offered to recommend another doctor I teared up like a two year old would, luckily Avery was there to console me {wink}! So... I am rephrasing... no longer "good-bye" but "see-ya-real-soon." Still, saying "see-ya-real-soon" is difficult... whether it was our dear friends, the Baker's Dozen, Addison's preschool friends & teachers, Avery's friends, our California family, or our precious Hannah... I felt like my heart was breaking each and every time!
I know God has a plan... I trust in that and I am excited for our future!!! I could physically see His plan today as the girls went outside in our backyard and Addison turns to my mother and says, "Look Grannie, grass... like at the park!" to which her response was "yes, just like at the park." And then Addison's big beautiful brown eyes just lit up as she said "I have my own park Grannie!" That was a major heart tug... and so was the fact that we hadn't been here more than two hours after the moving van parked out in front of our house and our neighbors popped over to say hello, some brought us Valentines and others are planning a "welcome back BBQ" for us... seriously we are blessed! I feel at peace being here, regardless of the fact we can only access one bathroom due to all the boxes packed to the near ceiling in 7 out of the 9 rooms in our home... it is just nice to be home.
Back to discussing the Bay... God put us in the Bay Area for all that time for a reason and the door isn't closed on that possibility yet! I have faith... God has a plan and through all the tears and super long hugs... I know that so many people have touched our lives, helped us grow and we are forever changed because of it. We love you all and looking forward to seeing ya real soon!!!

Much love and many blessings!
