time and season...

I know it is like 12:45am but this couldn't wait...

I just got back from an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G class {time and season} taught by none other than Heidi Swapp herself!!! If you live on planet scrapbook - you know her, you gravitate towards her, you love her!!! If you don't live on planet scrapbook... just know that she is one of those precious human beings who is ridiculously talented and has a fun-filled outlook on life because she knows it is a gift from HIM. One thing that Heidi always brings to her classes is a piece of herself - in that she pours herself into her class to where each student can identify with her on some level. Whether you are a parent, a daughter, a worker bee or a stay-at-home-mom... she knows how to just GET you!

Tonight her message was about living in the now and at each stage in life we think to ourselves "it's hard" and life is. What we need to remember is to live in the moment because they are just that... moments. This really spoke to me because with all that is going on in life, adding prayers to the prayer list, day-2-day little things... there is so much going on and we need to remember to take it all in around us. Kids are only this little for such a short period of time, taking the time to hear stories of the glory days told by the generations who lived them... life is precious and we should treat it as such!!!

Her class was awesome... we glimmer misted, we punched, we made window pockets, we used alcohol inks... I could go on and on because it was such a great class! Thank you again to my in-laws for their gracious Christmas gift!!!
