happy easter!!!

HE HAS RISEN. HE HAS RISEN INDEED!

What a glorious day today is... we are thankful, hopeful and full of faith this morning! We woke up a little late but we got the girls dressed and ready for church. We are loving our new church and this morning when our sweet Addison asked if we were going we got to say yes{she asks every single morning which should say just how much we LOVE this place!} At Sunday school the teachers in Addison's group planned for each child to decorate their own goodie bag and then let them lose for a massive egg hunt. The kids just loved it and Addison talked about it nonstop! Avery's group {younger munchkins} stayed inside and played their little hearts out and she didn't want to leave!

The service this morning was AMAZING! Our pastor has a way with words that is just captivating. He knows how to make a point, drive it home and allow you to really soak up his message. His sense of humor is top notch and his ability to relate to others is a gift. This morning the congregation was in for a special treat, our friends were invited up on stage and opened their hearts to all who were there. Before they really even started speaking I began to cry. I know their story, I knew what was coming and yet still, crying like it was the first time hearing it... hearing them share how deeply they were hurt and how only HIS love and HIS strength pulled their family together during this difficult time. I know in my heart of hearts they touched people today... in big ways, in small ways... in so many ways. I thank them for being so willing to share, thank them for being such bright lights, and very blessed to call them friends.
