soccer practice...

Today marked the day where we introduced a new kind of football in our house! 

Addison first soccer practice at school and it was such fun watching all the kids play. 

In the spirit of being honest, I know NOTHING about soccer so this experience is great for her and for me - mostly she is teaching me! My favorite was when she said, "Hey mom, did you know you can't use your hands in soccer?" and followed with "and I kick the ball like this {kicks imaginary ball really hard} and then I do this {insert her famous excited silly happy dance}!!!!"

This kid cracks us up! 

Here she is with her sweet friends Melrose and Zoe, these girls are ready to play!!!

They ran drills, 

 dribbled the ball back an forth...

{see, I am learning... baby steps, baby steps!}

And taking turns being the goalie...

she blocked two kicks... 

and she scored a goal!!! 

We are so very proud of our little soccer player and it makes us think of her very first soccer experience with this lovely lady! Brandi, Addison lost her tutu and her piggie tails but still knows how to protect the ball! Thank you for being such a great role model my friend!
