merry valentines day...

To celebrate Valentine's Day, the girls had fun making their Valentines! This little Play Dough flower pot was for Avery's class. She really enjoyed punching out flowers using the Enchanted Garden collection, however we lost track of all the Hershey kisses she ate during the assembly process!

Here are Addison's Valentines. Using a butterfly cookie cutter, we traced butterflies onto card stock and then practiced our scissor skills as we cut 30 of them out! {well, she cut about 5... cupid helped with the rest!} Addison decorated them using the My Little Shoebox punch pile {this is a box of random pieces made from various punches... it's a good way to use those left over scraps!} and then lathered up the butterfly with gobs of glitter & stickles! To make sure each friend from the combined classes received a Valentine, the teachers passed out photo cards so the kids knew who the Valentines were for! GENIUS!!!
