We decided to stay home today since the girls are in the final stages of their common cold... this is surely the not-so-fun part of being a parent! The challenge is taking two little girls who are usually bouncing off the walls with energy and pull them off of the couch to prevent them from becoming another couch cushion??? Hmmmm..... DING!
I pulled out the girls art bins {seriously, they have 4!!!} and dumped them in the middle of the living room and said "Girls... let's create something!" I have never seen them hop off that couch so quick!!!
Painting was first... shocker?!?!?
I envision many Christmas presents being wrapped in their artwork!!!
After painting we needed a change of clothes and then we moved onto other goodies in the art bin...
like leftover scrapbook letters, glitter, markers... the list goes on!
We tried to practice our letters as they ripped them off the chipboard, at least Avery got "D."
"Look Mommy, the letter 'O' goes 'oooooooo'"
Did they make a mess? YES!
Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!!!
Am I thankful to have my camera back? WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS!!!
Now... wish me luck on getting them down for a nap!!!
