Today our little drama princess had her first rehearsal for the upcoming school play. It was so funny getting her ready in her braided piggy tails and how the conversation went about:
Addison: Mommy, are we going to church?
Mommy: Not today sweetie, that's tomorrow. We are going to your dance rehearsal.
Addison: My dance re-horse-al? Whatcha talkin' about?
Mommy: Remember at school when you go dancing in your ballet shoes?
Addison: Uh-huh
Mommy: Well you are going to dance with your friends from school at the rehearsal today.
Addison: Oh... {long pause} a re-horse-al?
Mommy: Yes honey, a rehearsal is like a practice.
Addison: Oh, like when daddy goes to San Francisco?
Mommy: Yes honey...{grin from ear to ear!} just like that!
Our dear friends picked us up, the two preschoolers chatted it up in the back seat whereas the mommys did their fair share of chit chat too! These kids are two peas in a pod!!!
