Let's color Mommy!

Addie was coloring on paper with a pretty purple marker when the artist in her decided to color outside the lines (literally!) and started with her shirt. After she had dotted and dabbed her no-longer-white t-shirt & capris, she lifted up her shirt and started coloring her belly. I kept hearing her say "belly" so I praised her from the kitchen because she knows her body parts. Little did I know she was coloring her belly purple and once I realized it, as a mother you have two options....Option 1: tell her no and to clean her up right away or Option 2: start coloring with her. As you can see from the photo, I chose option 2. She had fun coloring on my face and giggling non-stop. I love hearing her laugh, it is like instant energy!
